Clearances around Lancaster and Morecambe Bay
North Lancashire runs straight on from the south of Cumbria, and the M6 and A6 link Kendal, Milnthorpe and Arnside with Carnforth, Lancaster and Morecambe. Our team covers this area regularly, clearing everything from city-centre flats and Victorian terraces to seaside bungalows, family homes and limestone cottages near the coast.

What north Lancashire clearances involve
City flats, terraces and rentals
Lancaster has a large rental market, with terraces, converted flats and shared houses that often need clearing quickly between tenancies. We work with landlords and letting agents, collecting keys and leaving properties swept and ready for cleaning or the next tenant. Parking near the centre can be restricted, so tell us about permits, loading bays or rear access.
Seaside homes and bungalows
Along the bay in Morecambe and Heysham, many clearances involve bungalows and seafront flats after a bereavement or a move into care. These homes are often full of good-quality furniture, books and ornaments, much of which can be passed on for reuse, and anything with resale value can be offset against the cost.
Villages, farms and cottages
Around Carnforth and Silverdale, clearances can include stone cottages, larger family homes with gardens, and farm buildings. Lanes are often narrow, so photos of the approach and turning space help us plan.
How the process works
Send photos of each room, plus any loft, garage, shed or garden, by WhatsApp to 07898 719 509 for a free, no-obligation quote. A visit can be arranged for larger properties. We price according to volume, access and travel, and point out anything that could be offset.
On the day, we walk through with you or agree the plan in advance if you cannot be there. Papers, photographs and keepsakes are set aside for you, and every load is sorted so usable furniture goes to charity shops and reuse projects and metals, electricals, textiles and cardboard are recycled. We are a registered waste carrier and fully insured.
Landlords may find our end of tenancy clearance service useful, and families can read about our bereavement clearance approach. For a single room, see partial house clearance.
Why sorting matters
Many clearance firms simply load everything and head for the tip. We take the slower, better route: furniture and household goods in decent condition go to charity shops and reuse projects, white goods and electricals are recycled through proper WEEE routes, and metal, wood, textiles and cardboard go into their own streams. It keeps far more out of landfill, and it means any items of value are spotted and can be offset against your bill. If you are wondering what to keep aside before we arrive, make a short list of anything going to family, and tell us about any paperwork you are still looking for.
There are no upfront charges. You pay on completion, once you are happy with the work.
